Welcome to the City of Saratoga Springs Open Space Plan Update project website!
The Open Space Plan was last updated in 2002. Following recommendations from that update, an Open Space bond fund program was created to protect, preserve, enhance, and improve environmentally sensitive, recreational and scenic land.
The Open Space Plan Update will establish criteria for the expenditure of bond funds, inventory open spaces as well as special areas for protection, preservation, conservation, parks, and both active and passive recreation. Read more about the history of the plan here.
The Open Space Plan Update is being developed by the City of Saratoga Springs Administrator of Parks, Open Space, Historic Preservation & Sustainability and guided by the Open Space Plan Steering Committee. The planning process will be facilitated by City staff with technical assistance from MJ Engineering and Land Surveying, P.C.
